NanoSCS
is an innovative, self-cleaning solution
developed for application on exterior
facades of buildings. Deal with climatic
conditions in Malaysia encourages
the formation of layers of pollutants
and stains on building facades, wall
surfaces and others material surface.
NanoArt NanoSCS
helps owners to maintain their buildings,
houses, or others exterior facades
material or infrastructure to prevent
a build-up of surface pollutants and
fungi up to 3 years.
The
Development of Photocatalytic Treatment
Solutions Using Nanotechnology
The use of nanotechnology in concrete
treatment products was initiated by
the Japanese in the 1990s. This was
followed up and researched upon by
the Europeans in 1996. It came about
in response to a need in the construction
of precast concrete panels for the
Dives in Misericordia Church Project
in Rome. By 2000, the Japanese were
already using photocatalytic technology
through a product name TiO2 in green
chemistry.
Further results from research in
2001 to 2005 led to the application
of photocatalytic concrete technology
by the Europeans for building structures.
And in 2008, a process to produce
photocatalytic self-cleaning coatings
was successfully developed by scientists
from the Agency for Science, Technology
and Research in Singapore.
